As a lot of unusual wet stuff fell from the sky today in Hawke’s Bay riding time was spent constructing a personal training map for Mum1 who is about to embark on a new training regime. (This training regime has as yet not been agreed by Mum1 at an official BikeOnMums meeting, where I would normally pretend to consult and negotiate with Mum1 about her training and goals; never mind.)

Mum5 has been busy modelling for the Hastings i-ways project. I stepped away from my crucial role at this event in order to record her skilful negotiation of the runway on her radius ‘cruzer ‘. This bike is suitable for ages 12plus...(what does that tell you) but with a spelling age of 5. The applause in this clip is genuine and well deserved.
In other news Mum2 is sadly out of action for a while due to falling from a horse. Get well soon Mum2 and stop doing dangerous sporting activities- keep to cycling.
Mum6 has been enjoying riding the BikeOnMums shop bike but thinks she would like to upgrade to something more in the comfort, step-through line after testing possibly the most comfortable leisure bike on the market. Patience, Mum6.
