BikeOnMums welcome Mum6 and thank her for joining.
Mum6 did not grow up riding bikes but is more than competent with
the basics of pedaling, steering and braking and lets face it- what
else is there really to know.
Mum6 came to BikeOnMums attention at a Bike On NZ 'Bikes in Schools'
school. She was seen successfully riding around the track on one of the childrens'
bikes thereby proving she can ride anything.
Which is why BikeOnMums is testing Mum6 on a classic Worldrider (pink) see photo.
This is the original BikeOnMums bike as first seen powered by Mum1.
Mum1 has sold this bike to me (on paper) to use as an interim bike for
new Mums while we decide the important question of which bike colour
will best suit each Mum and the lesser question of which brand and or model
is the best fit.
It is very generous and completely within character for Mum1 to part with this
bike and has nothing to do with it taking up space in her office or Mum1 needing
this space for the eagerly awaited (by me) arrival of her road bike.
Mum6 is going to test ride the Worldrider and take a 'see how it goes'
attitude to this new experience of cycling. An attitude which fits in with the
BikeOnMums ethos of casualness and unprofessionalism.
We here at BikeOnMums HQ wish Mum6 good luck with her cycling
and extra good luck finding a bike rack to park at.
