Mum3 has started to get serious about the Lake Taupo Challenge later this year. Some of us here at Bikeonmums HQ, while admiring Mum3’s drive and determination,  like to do things a little more impulsively and last minute and don’t want to think about that event quite yet.

To take our minds off it Mum5 and I went for a little country road circuit finishing with a hill ride on Thursday. Mum1 is going to absolutely love trying out that hill this weekend. I have had the feeling that Mum1 has been hiding from me this week, (completely understandably as I cannot wait to get her started on her new programme). She has received a present of an indoor trainer this week. I cannot think of a more thoughtful gift and I can’t wait to film her using it.

In the meantime Mum4 has responded to a request from HQ to send in an educational video showing the correct gesture to be used when turning. This is for the benefit of the two Mums who do not use hand signals.
