Accessories

BikeOnMums has been increasing our stock of accessories, which is one of the enjoyable and time consuming pastimes of cycling. Last week a number of bikeonmums received bike computers. For one mum the most important function on these computers is the outside temperature as this mum has been known not to leave the house when it is less than 15 degrees Celsius. I think there may be something wrong with my computer as it recorded a top speed last week of 42 kph which I know is impossible as I was not with Mum1 at the time so I was not having to keep up with her and shout safety messages at her while she giggles her way down hills with no regard for upcoming intersections. Mum1 will soon learn to love uphill.

Mum4, who is in the process of moving house, has packed her computer 'somewhere in a box'. Mum4 often makes vague statements like this but cannot be faulted over her commitment to cycling where ever she feels like and with no regard for accepted and entrenched cycling dress codes.

A new bike has arrived at Bikeonmums HQ for the purpose of the school run. This bike was not purchased as someone close to Mum1 suggested, solely because it is a better bike than his (even though it is) but because it has a lefty fork. And what better reason, besides colour, can there be to buy a bike.
